These terms are an agreement between you and the independent developer who runs Samo (“we”). You accept them when you tap “Agree & finish” while signing up, or “Agree & continue” when we ask you to review updated terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Samo.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and give accurate information. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.
You own what you post. You give us permission to store your content and show it to the people you share it with, only so we can run Samo.
Photos and videos you post in Timeline and Colorwalk rooms are deleted automatically 14 days after upload. Samo isn’t a backup service, so keep your own copies of anything you want to keep.
Only post things you have the right to share.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. You may not post or send:
Don’t use Samo to harass, intimidate or abuse anyone.
You can report a vibe post, and block the person who posted it, from the post’s menu. To report anything else, such as a photo, video, chat message or person, email support@samoonline.com or use Settings > Contact us. We review and act on reports of objectionable content or abuse within 24 hours, however they reach us.
When something breaks these rules, we remove it, and we may suspend or permanently remove the accounts responsible, without notice for serious violations. Vibe posts that receive several reports may be hidden automatically while we review them.
Don’t reverse engineer, scrape or automate access to Samo, try to get around its security or limits, or interfere with how it runs.
If you sign in with Apple or Google, their terms also apply to that sign-in.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Samo or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
You can stop using Samo and delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Samo is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content you lose because you didn’t keep a copy.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll ask you to agree again in the app before you continue.
These terms are available in English and Chinese. If the two versions differ, the English version applies.
